I went to the Wind River Range at the end of May with my friends Andrey and Cy. Between a brutal 20 miles skin track slog and snack breaks, we even skied a bit. Although we bailed off our main objective on Mt. Gannett due to some lingering windslab on north aspects, we found great corn on Mount Helen, and on the surrounding slopes of Titcomb Basin. Our time in the Basin was short, and I left too many lines unskied. Here’s a short video recap & some photos from the trip:
